should i get checked out?

Yeah seems sily to ask now. but yeah for a least a year i keep finding random brusises on my arms and legs they dont hurt are anything i normally have about 10ish at a time. also keep getting really dizzy and faint daily. doc said its just my migrains but meh it happens when im feeling ok as well. was just wondering if im being stupid assuming its nothing and not getting checked out. especially since my diet cuts out alot of food which i guess could cause it?. anyways sorry for wasting space i know its probally normal i just wanna yeah start looking after me

I think it would be safe to see the doctor hunni, even if it turns out to be nothing, it is always worth finding out. It doesnt sound too good hun, but make sure you think of any other symptoms when you see the doctor, no matter how small they seem x

I think it would be a good idea to see the Dr.Your not wasting space at all! I think your right to be concerned. It doesnt sound normal at all. Especially the dizzy spells. What food groups have you been mising out? It could well be a lack of iron thats doing it or some other vitamins. If its happening when you're not having a migraine then I dont see how it can be connected. And Ive never been told that my bruising is related to my migraines! So thats definately not connected! Are you on any medication? Im on Lofepramine and when I started taking that it made me pass out regularly for a fair few weeks. Either way, I definately think that you need to see your dr. And if he doesnt listen then I think you should seek a second opinion. Is there more than one dr at your practise? xxxxxxxxxxxx

your diet is very very poor, so the bruising and dizzy spells are probably related to your eating. With no iron in your diet you could have amnemia, but iron tablets work a treat. I used to pass out before i started taking them but now i never really have a problem. Go to the doctor, tell him about the bruising, the dizzy spells and your diet x

I really think you need to start adding things like Quorn to your diet. Its low in calories and contains iron. You can get it already cooked so al you got to do is open the packet. Its good that you eat potatoes. Being vegetarian doesnt mean you have to miss out on important vitamins and minerals. What about things like drinking milk or having yoghurts? That would help a lot. I think you ought to invest in some multivitamins and iron tablets. Iron is definately why you are dizzy. Anaemia can be serious so you need to get checked out. I think you should ask your GP about how to manage a vegetarian diet properly. Eggs too are ok for vegetarians and they are great for protein and iron. One egg is 80cals so it wouldnt 'cost' you much and they can be done in so many ways. Fish is also allowed on a vegetarian diet I think depending on what vegetarian you are so what about some tinned tuna or salmon? Put it on jacket potatoes? Either way, you need to see the GP and tell them EVERYTHING! If you cant tell them, then print this post out and hand it to them. Its important. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
