I never even been in this forum because i never realized it was here. I know, but anywho,
I am on birth control. I am on Nuvaring and I've been on it for 2 and a half months now.
Fiance and I actually decided to have sex and NOT pull out. We did two times. This was last Thursday. Like when Saturday hit, I started getting scared and my anxiety kicked in and i'm all worried and thinking what is i'm pregnant and I can't be pregnant right now and idk. I just don't freaking thik and sometimes if i'm in a very very high mood, i'd want to have sex like 6 or more times. My fiance was just like dang....are u serious? I mean, of coarse he didn't mind but he was just trying to say you know hey, this isn't like you but then i get all mean. I'm just weird.

Re: Poor decisions when it comes to sex. after you've been on the pill for over 7 days you're protected. However no form of contraception is 100% effective so there's always a slight chance you're always better using a condom as well.
However if you are worried you are pregnant take a pregnancy test when enough time has passed to get an accurate reading...until you can get an accurate reading on a test, i would try to take your mind off it.
Also it's good your fiance notices when you're in a high and tries to say to you, shows he cares.
take care

… Sorry, I forgot to explain. Nuvaring isn't a pill. It's this like clear ring you insert in vagina on a Sunday and it stays in for 3 weeks and then removed for menstrual on Sunday and then a new one gets inserted that next Sunday after removed. You do it yourself. It places itself almost like how a contact lense places itself to the iris. Thanks for the advice IP! =)

… I think if you are using it crrectly then I think you should be ok. I mean like IP says, no contraception is 100% but I still think if you're using contraception then its unlikely. Try using condoms as well as the Nuvaring if you are feeling paranoid about it. That will really make sure you dont get pregnant. You could also think about the implant which goes into your arm and they last for about 3 yrs and you dont have to do anything with them. They stay in all the time and are effective. I think if you use two sorts of barrier contraception then you will be really safe. Xxxxxxx
