Wicca Is being wiccan a religion? I have so many people that tell me they dont believe in god, they are wiccan..but it confuses me
(referring to TV now) On the programme Charmed, the three charmed ones Paige, Piper and Phoebe are wiccan but they are good and they do believe in god??
Im confused!

Wiccans don't believe in the Christian God, but the Lord and lady, and nature. It's very nature based and celebrates life.
You sound suprised when you say that the 'Charmed Ones' are good? You shouldn't be. The Wiccan Rede states "An' it harm none, do what thou will". Basically, Wicca is nothing bad, but lots of people brand it so. Wicca works by the law of 3 fold, whatever you do (good or bad) comes back to you times 3. Meaning that if you do chose to be bad then worse will happen to you.
… Oh no..lol, I know wicca isnt bad..ive studied it myself! Im not surprised, i was just trying to base it on theory for everyone else is that makes sense

Re: Wicca a lot of my friends follow the Wiccan ideals and beliefs...its well cool i used to be into Wicca myself until i converted into believing well nothing religious...

Re: Wicca Heya. Im a Christian and dont believe in Wicca, its my opinion that Wicca's use the powers of the Devil to make things happen. The Devil is a powerful force. But I get that all our opinions vary. But what im interested in is what the Wiccan belief is in creation and life after death????
Sorry, i didnt mean to imply that i thought Wiccans used 'their powers for bad' what i meant was the source of your 'magic or power' (not sure of the right term) i believe has to come from the Devil. See the Bible says that anything that doesnt come from God is sin. Wiccan magic does not come from God and as all sin comes from the Devil, Wiccan power comes from that source-does that make sense? This is the reason all Christians say they are sinners, it doesnt mean we're going out a getting drunk and sleeping with a whole collection of different people each nite, it means that all our thoughts etc are not based on what God says. I repent for thinking bad things about myself as what comes from God is that i am amazing and beautiful and powerful, not that i am a bad person...again, does that make sense? In the same way you get supernatural power from other sources i get it from God, for example we healed a guys ankle last week.
